The Campsite
Meadow View Campsite in Horton near Wimborne, in the laidback Dorset countryside is the perfect home for our gorgeous kitsch Trailers.
The site is ideally located close to the New Forest and the beautiful beaches of Bournemouth and Poole and near the gate way to the stunning Jurassic coast. Yet there is a tranquillity and peacefulness that you will also be happy to stay on site to enjoy. The stunning and historical landmark that is the Horton Tower is in view from the entrance to the site. Drusilla’s Inn, a traditional thatched Dorset pub that serves delicious food is located less than a mile away
The campsite has a beautiful small lake, a great place to fish or relax and take in the local wildlife. We move the Airstreams around the site so please don't be concerned if you are holidaying with an active toddler we can make sure that you are well away from water.
There is also plenty of space for games. The site has fantastic new toilet and shower facilities. Mobile firepits can be rented from reception so you can enjoy toasting marshmallows and a glass of wine or cider by the fire as the sun goes down. A fish and chip van visits on a Saturday night in high season and an ice cream van visits frequently too.
